APPARTAMENTO SF
In questo progetto viene trattato il tema della distribuzione spaziale, risolta mediante la realizzazione di un nuovo dispositivo centrale di arredo. L’appartamento precedentemente ristrutturato negli anni novanta non ha risolto i rapporti tra gli spazi interni, si presenta infatti diviso in due parti con l’ambiente esposto a sud con la zona giorno e l’ambiente esposto a nord con la zona notte.
In this project we dealt with the distribution of spaces, which was enabled by a new central furniture piece. The apartment had been previously renovated in the 90s, although no good solution for the distribution of interior spaces was ever found: there are two separate ambients, the south-facing day zone and the north-facing night zone.
Il progetto lavora sul "passaggio" tra questi due ambienti mediante l'inserimento di un dispositivo d'arredo che, posto al centro della casa, mette in relazione lo spazio abitato. Il dispositivo d'arredo assume quindi diverse funzioni: il lato verso il soggiorno diventa un armadio, il lato verso l'ingresso una libreria, il lato verso la zona notte una grande porta che segna il passaggio tra i due macrospazi della casa.
The projects mainly works on the “passage” between these two ambients thanks to a new furniture piece, in the center of the house, that establishes a relation with the living space. Thus the furniture piece acquires multiple functions: the living room-facing side become a wardrobe, the entrance.facing side becomes a bookcase and the night zone-facing side becomes a large door that marks the passage between the two main spaces of the dwelling.
Il dispositivo è protagonista, attorno a lui si costruisce tutta la casa. Realizzato in legno di rovere è contrapposto alla pavimentazione in piastrelle di colore grigio e al bianco delle pareti.
It is indeed the protagonist, the whole house is built around it.
This furniture piece is made of durmast and it contrasts with the grey tiles and the white walls.
